HI I’M QUI-SHAWN

Hello, I’m Qui-Shawn! 😀

Currently a 5th year undergraduate at UC San Diego with a passion for photography, songwriting, videography, and spoken word poetry.

As a photographer, I have 5+ years of experience using Lightroom and Photoshop to polish off my shoots from corporate, culinary, portraits, weddings, and more!

As a musician, I have been songwriting, teaching myself music theory, acoustic guitar and everything about the Ableton DAW (Digital Audio Workspace)!

As a poet, I write about my Asian American identity, having performed in many awesome places in and around UC San Diego and the San Diego area! A Sketch of Purpose at the Conrad Prebys Concert Hall is a collection of 6 original poems about finding my identity as a musician and artist

As a content creator, I have been posting on my YouTube channel!

As an activist, my most recent project was Rock Against Hate, a livestream collective of Asian American musicians, comedians, and performers. We fundraised for #StopAAPIHate. Here’s my performance & interview!

Here’s my (super general) resume, if you have some ideas to collaborate!

If you’d like to personally connect, here’s my Instagram!
